About the Journal

Official publication of the Medical Body Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo National Hospital (Rev. Cuerpo Med. HNAAA), destined to disseminate mainly the medical-scientific information produced locally, nationally and internationally. It also receives all the contributions generated by students and professionals that are developed in the field of health inside and outside the country, which will be published after external peer evaluation. 

The journal is published virtually quarterly and the printed version is distributed free. Also it is indexed in 7 databases: Web of Science (WoS-ESCI), Dialnet (Spain), Latindex (Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal), Imbiomed (Mexico), SISBIB (Peru), LILACS (Latin American), EBSCO (USA).

The journal of the Medical Body Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo National Hospital (Rev. Cuerpo Med. HNAAA), does not have charges or fees for the publication of articles (article processing charging [APC]) sent by the authors, nor charges for the receipt of articles.

The conflict of interest form recommended by the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) can be downloaded at the following link: http://www.icmje.org/downloads/coi_disclosure.zip. The corresponding author must submit the form of each of the authors.

In case any fault is detected against ethics in publication during the review process or after publication, the journal will take necessary actions based on the recommendations of the Committee on Ethics in Publication (www.publicationethics.org), which may include the rejection or retraction of the article, the prohibition of publication of upcoming articles in the journal to all authors, as well as the notification to other journals and the communication to respective authorities (home institution, institution that funded the study, professional colleges and ethics committees.
